Job summary

SoCal Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform general maintenance across apartment communities. You will handle work orders, unit turns, grounds maintenance, and preventative tasks under the supervision of the Maintenance/Community Manager.

Responsibilities include coordinating move-ins, tracking turns in Yardi, and ensuring timely completion of service requests, while upholding company standards and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1 year experience performing duties of a Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments (painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs).
• Coordinate move-in schedule with Management; track turns in Yardi.
• Manage open service requests in Yardi; complete work orders in 24-48 hours.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems.
• Ensure safety and compliance; report issues promptly.
• Maintain supply inventory for property and coordinate with management.
• Support after-hours emergencies and on-call rotations.
• Maintain clean, safe common areas and exterior spaces.
