Balfour Beatty Communities in New Mexico is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our community in top condition and provide world-class service to residents.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure timely completion of requests. The role includes rotating on-call coverage and adherence to safety policies.

Eligible candidates have 1-3 years of maintenance experience, basic troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1-3 years maintenance experience.
Basic troubleshooting skills.
Certifications relevant to the region (EPA 608, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair) obtained within 9 months of employment or promotion.
Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Provide maintenance support for general maintenance and orderliness of property HVA, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems, including inspections and repairs.
Ensure the successful execution of all company safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Deliver the highest level of resident satisfaction through responsive, consistent, positive, and professional interactions.
Work a rotating on-call schedule to have 24/7 maintenance coverage.
