Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician in Prattville, AL to set up, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, automation, robotics, and related equipment in a fast-paced facility. You will document all work in CMMS, perform root cause analysis of downtime, and collaborate with maintenance teams to keep production lines running safely and efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma and 3 years of repair experience, with PLC troubleshooting and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
• Basic understanding of PLC logic systems and ability to troubleshoot.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to work with data in CMMS.
• Willing to travel up to 10% for business purposes (within state and out of state).
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair out-of-service equipment; escalate to leadership when needed.
• Document work in CMMS and maintain accurate logs for equipment tests.
• Conduct root cause analyses of major downtime events and implement corrective actions.
• Assist a teammate on complex tasks and participate in facility/building projects as required.
• Assemble and test equipment to verify correct operation and production.
• Analyze production delays and record findings to improve equipment reliability.
• Adhere to safety procedures and operate PPE while maintaining a safe work environment.
