Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a maintenance technician to set up, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, automation, and robotics with minimal supervision. You will document work in CMMS, mentor junior engineers, and support facility projects including minor renovations and equipment testing.

The role requires 5 years of relevant maintenance experience, an associates degree or trade certification, PLC familiarity, and occasional travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
• Associates degree in Mechatronics or related field preferred; trade apprenticeship or certification beneficial.
• Experience with PLC logic systems and basic PC software (Excel) helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and ad-hoc repairs on conveyors, automation, robotics and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot out-of-service equipment; escalate to leadership as needed and mentor junior staff.
• Record maintenance issues in the log and CMMS/ticketing systems; maintain operation logs for plant systems.
• Oversee projects, assist with space renovations, inventory management, and contractor oversight.
• Assemble and test equipment to verify operation and diagnose production delays.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and operate material handling equipment as required.
