Job summary

CWS Apartments is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Director to blend hands-on maintenance work with strong leadership. You will guide the maintenance team, prepare apartments for new residents, and handle service requests with a focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, coordination with residents and vendors, and adherence to CWS safety programs. A valid driver’s license and basic tools are required, with English proficiency necessary for reading

Qualifications

• EPA, HVAC I & II, CPO and local certifications are required.
• Minimum 1-2 years in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools and read service requests in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading maintenance team
• Prepare make-ready apartments
• Complete service requests
• Maintain inventory and shop organization
• Perform common area maintenance
• Participate in preventative maintenance program
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members
• Participate in the CWS Risk Management Program and Safety Programs
