Job summary

CWS Apartments is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Director to balance hands-on maintenance with strong leadership. You will manage service requests, prepare apartments, and uphold safety standards while coordinating with residents and vendors.

The role requires 1–2 years in apartment maintenance or related trades, EPA/HVAC/CPO certifications, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work across properties with a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Yardi software experience preferred.
• EPA, HVAC I & II, CPO and local certifications required.
• 1–2 years experience in apartment maintenance or related trade.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team and coordinate service requests.
• Prepare make-ready apartments and inspect units.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Perform common area maintenance and preventative tasks.
• Support resident satisfaction programs and safety protocols.
• Communicate with residents, vendors, and team members.
