Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Director to lead a maintenance team, prepare apartments, and handle service requests. This role combines hands-on tasks with supervisory responsibilities to ensure high resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in apartment maintenance, HVAC knowledge, and EPA HVAC I & II/CPO certifications. A valid driver’s license and basic tools are required, with flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC basics.
• 1–2 years of full-time apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Able to read service requests, schedules, and communicate with team and residents.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading maintenance team and daily operations.
• Prepare make-ready apartments and complete service requests.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Perform common area maintenance and preventative tasks.
• Support resident satisfaction programs and safety initiatives.
• Communicate with residents, vendors, and team members.
