Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Director to lead a maintenance team while handling hands-on tasks and exceptional resident service. You will oversee make-readies, preventive maintenance, and daily operations across property sites, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires EPA/HVAC certifications, basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills, plus a strong customer-service orientation and supervisory abilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred and EPA/HVAC I & II, CPO certifications required.
• 1–2 years of full-time apartment maintenance or related trade experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance; read service requests in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading maintenance team and make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization; participate in safety programs.
• Communicate with residents, vendors, and team members; respond to emergencies.
