CWS Apartments is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Director to lead hands-on maintenance and customer service efforts across residential communities. You will supervise maintenance tasks, ensure timely service requests, and partner with residents and vendors to uphold high standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and teamwork, with responsibilities spanning preventative maintenance, resident satisfaction initiatives, and operational coordination.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• EPA, HVAC I & II, CPO and local certifications (required).
• Minimum 1–2 years in apartment maintenance or trades requiring basic electrical/plumbing/carpentry/HVAC knowledge (required).
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance (required).
• Own a basic set of hand tools (required).
• Able to read service requests and communicate with team, residents, and vendors in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading maintenance team.
• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Complete service requests.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Perform common area maintenance.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Communicate with residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and team.
