Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical work ensuring buildings and grounds meet Greystar standards. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with on-call rotation; duties include repairs, make-ready tasks, inspections, and vendor coordination.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety, budget awareness, and collaboration with the Community Manager to uphold high-quality standards across 95 units. Onsite work and manuals guide daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or building maintenance.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; safe tool use required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for internal and resident interactions.
• Proficiency with basic math for administrative and financial tasks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and interiors.
• Inspect work by others and by contractors, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory and assist with budget and cost control.
• Perform monthly preventive maintenance per manual.
• Assist in developing maintenance budgets and capital projects.
• Support safety meetings, maintain MSDS, and stay compliant with OSHA rules.
• Provide courteous, responsive service to residents and team members.
