Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and perform technical work ensuring the community’s buildings, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality. The role is based in Lancaster, CA and requires 3–5 years of supervision experience and proficiency with Yardi, Happy Co, and RealPage.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, making-ready vacant units, budgeting assistance, vendor coordination, and upholding

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Knowledge and safe use of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Proficiency in basic math for admin and financial tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and performs routine upkeep.
• Manages the make-ready process for vacant units and coordinates vendors.
• Maintains standards for grounds, exteriors, amenities, and common areas to Greystar quality.
• Inspects work and coordinates corrective actions with contractors as needed.
• Maintains inventory and assists the Community Manager with budgeting and cost control.
