Job summary

Asset Living in Salisbury, NC, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at the community, manage staff and vendors, and ensure safety standards. You will handle work orders, preventative maintenance, inspections, and inventory while coordinating with the Community Manager to meet budgets and service quality.

This on-site role requires on-call coverage, strong communication, and a commitment to Fair Housing and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• EPA & CPO certification required; HVAC desired.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Management: oversee daily operations, service requests and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Inspect grounds, buildings and community features to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Manage maintenance supplies inventory within budget guidelines.
• Plan and oversee safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Supervise maintenance staff, provide training and monitor performance.
• Assist with unit inspections and ensure timely make-ready of units.
