Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations across the community. You will manage service requests, preventive maintenance, and staff, ensuring safety standards and high-quality service for residents.

The role collaborates with the Community Manager to supervise staff and vendors while maintaining budgets and safety compliance. The position requires scheduling, on-call availability, and a proactive approach to keeping grounds and facilities in top condition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• EPA & CPO certification required; HVAC desired.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Management
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests and work orders
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify, minimize, and correct hazardous property conditions or liability concerns
• Plan for and utilize property resources, equipment, and supplies economically (i.e., obtaining bids/pricing from vendors, contractors)
• Give direction to and monitor maintenance, construction, and rehabilitation activities to ensure quality and expediency
• Promote harmony and quality job performance of staff through support and effective leadership
• Enforce policies of the community that the immediate supervisor delegates
