Job summary

Greystar in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a maintenance technician to service a 264-unit garden-style community. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain interior and exterior spaces, manage make-ready tasks for new move-ins, and uphold Greystar standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, tool proficiency, and strong customer service skills. Flexibility for on-site work and on-call rotation is included.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders generated from resident requests for service and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and making repairs according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Oversees and completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing by inspecting, listing tasks, scheduling vendors, obtaining materials, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, and interior spaces to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspects work by other service team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and materials and coordinates with the Community Manager on supplies within budget.
• Completes monthly preventative maintenance procedures and supports budget for repairs and capital projects.
• Supports safety programs, ensures MSDS availability, and stays updated on OSHA and safety laws.
• Demonstrates customer service by responding to residents and team questions with professionalism and urgency.
