Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Alpharetta, GA to perform technical and mechanical tasks ensuring building, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. The role includes completing work orders, performing preventive maintenance, and managing make-readies for new move-ins.

Responsibilities also cover inventory, documentation, safety compliance, and occasional on-site inspections.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.
• State and local jurisdiction certification requirements applicable to all service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Performs make-ready tasks for vacant apartments and inspects completed work.
• Manages materials/inventory, notifies supervisor for re-orders, and documents work performed.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts when possible and using tools correctly.
