Job summary

Greystar seeks a Property Maintenance Technician to service inside and exterior buildings, grounds, and common areas, ensuring safety, appearance, and functionality. The role covers work orders, make-ready tasks, and preventative maintenance with a Monday–Friday schedule and 5+ years’ experience.

The position requires EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, a valid driver’s license, and owning hand tools. It includes a 40% housing discount and bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; safe use of tools.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with basic computing and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from residents for service and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by other team members and contractors; ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools; assist budget planning and cost control.
