Job summary

UniFirst seeks a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to ensure facility equipment operates efficiently and to guide maintenance staff. The role involves diagnosing issues from blueprints and schematics, performing preventive maintenance, and overseeing safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and schematics to diagnose and fix equipment.
• Two-year technical degree preferred; HS diploma or GED accepted.
• MS Office skills required; experience with CMMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform basic welding to repair facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on assets and follow documented schedules.
