Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to ensure facility equipment runs efficiently, identify process improvements, and train maintenance staff. The role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and overseeing safety and regulatory compliance on all shifts.

On-color overtime may be required. The ideal candidate has a minimum 3 years repairing industrial equipment and 2 years supervising staff, with strong knowledge of blueprints,

Qualifications

• High school or GED preferred.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• Minimum of 2 years supervising maintenance personnel preferred.
• Maintenance administration including planning, scheduling, budgeting, parts and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform and supervise preventive maintenance on facility and production assets.
• Manage and assign all equipment maintenance and oversee regulatory and environmental compliance.
• Develop and manage building, equipment, capital expenditures and parts/labor budgets.
