Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure facility equipment operates efficiently and to identify process improvements. The role includes managing maintenance staff, scheduling preventive maintenance, and supervising safety/compliance. On-site work with some overtime may occur.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial maintenance, strong PLC and electrical/mechanical knowledge, and experience reading blueprints. MS Office proficiency and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Two-year technical degree or equivalent in maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with PLCs, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Must pass a maintenance knowledge assessment to be eligible.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues and determine corrective actions.
• Inspect, operate and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform basic welding to repair facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and control systems; ensure preventive maintenance.
• Oversee safety and regulatory compliance within maintenance dept.
