Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to keep facility equipment functioning and lead maintenance staff. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, supervise preventive maintenance, manage budgets, and ensure safety compliance.

This role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience, a technical degree preferred, strong reading of blueprints, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising maintenance personnel is preferred.
• Maintenance administration experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating, parts management, vendor management, maintenance management systems is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunction.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production assets.
• Manage and assign maintenance work and budgets with leadership guidance.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance within the maintenance department.
