UniFirst seeks a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance activities across our facilities. You will diagnose mechanical/electrical problems, supervise technicians, and ensure preventive maintenance keeps production assets running efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; two-year technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
• Minimum 2 years supervising maintenance personnel.
• Maintenance administration experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and vendor management.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Lockout/Tagout experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action using blueprints and manuals.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform basic welding as needed for repairs.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production assets.
• Follow documented schedules using blueprints and manuals.
• Manage maintenance budget and parts/labor with vendors.
• Oversee safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance.
• Train and develop maintenance staff.
• Utilize a CMMS to track work orders and maintenance workload.
