Job summary

UniFirst seeks a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to oversee facility equipment and drive maintenance excellence. You will diagnose, repair, and improve processes, manage preventive maintenance, and lead a team across shifts with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years repairing industrial equipment, 2+ years supervising staff, and experience with CMMS, PLCs, and blueprints. The role supports a Monday–Friday core schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising maintenance personnel.
• Maintenance administration experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, parts management, and vendor coordination.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action by consulting blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform basic welding to repair facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and control systems.
• Perform and manage preventive maintenance on facility and production assets.
• Maintain safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental standards.
