Job summary

UniFirst seeks a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to ensure facility equipment functions efficiently and to identify improvements in processes and maintenance practices. The role includes overseeing shifts, planning preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

We offer on-the-job training and a Monday–Friday work week with occasional night and weekend overtime. Suitable candidates will have a strong background in maintenance administration, blueprints, PLCs, and team

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• Minimum 2 years supervising maintenance personnel.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective actions.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production assets.
• Manage and assign maintenance work, including after-hours repairs.
• Oversee safety, regulatory compliance, and training within the maintenance department.
