Job summary
MJ Recruiters, LLC is assisting a premier Lakewood, NJ manufacturing site in recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor for a 24/7 packaging operation. The role emphasizes coaching, safety, and hands-on leadership to drive uptime and process reliability.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervision in manufacturing, experience with FDA-regulated environments, and strong problem-solving, planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum five years in maintenance supervision in manufacturing.
- Experience in FDA-regulated environments (pharma, food, beverage).
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
- Experience with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and ticketing systems.
- Strong continuous improvement background to increase uptime and efficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Lead a 24/7 maintenance team in packaging operations.
- Promote safety culture and enforce site policies.
- Coordinate maintenance resources and schedules for urgent issues.
- Oversee external service providers and sign off work packages.
