Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

The role involves handling work orders, making ready units for leasing, inspecting contractors, and supporting the Community Manager with budgets and safety programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or building maintenance.
• Must provide own hand tools and use them safely.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to diagnose issues.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and common areas.
• Inspect work and ensure compliance with safety policies and codes.
• Maintain inventory and assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Support cost-control by fixing rather than replacing where possible.
