Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the inside and external buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

The role includes handling work orders, managing make-ready tasks for vacant units, inspecting quality, maintaining inventory, performing preventive maintenance, and contributing to budgeting while upholding OSHA

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by State law; able to safely use hand/power tools.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to identify and fix problems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine maintenance.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process for vacant units and move-ins.
• Sets cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, buildings, and common areas.
• Inspects work by service team members and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials; coordinates supplies.
• Performs monthly preventative maintenance tasks per policy.
• Assists in budgeting for regular repairs and capital projects.
• Supports cost-controls by using parts efficiently and safely.
