Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for The Residence at SouthPark in Charlotte, NC. You will oversee and perform technical maintenance to keep buildings, grounds, and common areas clean, safe, and functional.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, coordinating make-ready tasks for vacant units, maintaining inventory, and supporting budget planning while ensuring residents receive courteous, timely service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Incumbents must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law and must be knowledgeable and skilled in safe use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication with residents, clients, team members, and other business contacts.
• Experience with basic computer skills and property management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing defects and performing repairs.
• Oversees make-ready process for vacant units, schedules vendors, and completes inspections.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspects work by others and contractors, ensuring quality and adherence to policies.
• Maintains inventory and coordinates supplies within budget; assists with monthly preventive maintenance.
• Supports budgeting for repairs and capital projects; participates in safety meetings and OSHA compliance.
• Demonstrates customer service by addressing residents' questions and complaints promptly.
