Job summary

Asset Living in Utah is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for a community, manage staff and vendors, and ensure safety compliance.

The role requires EPA/CPO certification, HVAC knowledge, and basic computer skills; on-call emergencies and daily inspections are part of the job.

You will plan resource use, oversee service requests and make-ready units while maintaining records and budgets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• EPA & CPO certification required; HVAC desired.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations and staff, including service requests and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Manage and order maintenance supplies inventory within budget guidelines.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend asset life and minimize repairs.
• Maintain a well-organized maintenance shop adhering to safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Participate in unit inspections as requested and monitor work progress.
• Plan for and utilize property resources, equipment, and supplies economically.
