Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across our multifamily communities. You will lead a hands-on team, manage service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors and contractors to uphold safety, cleanliness, functionality, and appearance.

The role emphasizes customer service, strong technical skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in multifamily property maintenance including turnover/make-ready.
• At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting or appliance repair.
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification as required by property.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and guide the maintenance team to complete tasks on time.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliances, carpentry and general maintenance.
• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders per standards and timelines.
• Oversee make-ready, inspections, vendor scheduling, and final quality checks.
• Maintain clean, safe, and visually appealing common areas; manage inventory and parts.
• Schedule in-house and contractor work; document monthly preventive maintenance.
• Ensure safety by conducting meetings, maintaining MSDS, and following OSHA standards.
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance; provide excellent customer service.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and avoid unnecessary replacements.
