SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a growing manufacturing site in Lakewood, NJ. You will lead a fully staffed maintenance team on the packaging lines, coaching and mentoring staff, and spending significant time on the shop floor to drive uptime and safety.

The role requires an associate degree (bachelor's preferred), at least five years in maintenance supervision in FDA-regulated environments, and experience with PLC troubleshooting, PM programs, ERP/CMMS, and

Competenze

• Associate's degree is required; bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
• At least five years of maintenance supervision experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in FDA regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Preventive maintenance programs and ticketing systems experience.
• Strong continuous improvement background, focused on uptime and efficiencies.
• MS Office skills, including Word and Excel.

• Team Leadership & Coaching: Directly responsible for a high-performing, 24/7 maintenance team on the packaging lines; mentor mechanics and escalate performance issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Safety & Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture, enforce policies, and oversee safety initiatives across the site.
• Maintenance Planning & Operations: Schedule and allocate resources for packaging lines; verify work can proceed and ensure tests before operations resume.
• Continuous Improvement & KPIs: Own safety and productivity KPIs; drive preventive maintenance and lean initiatives; participate in root cause investigations.
• Work Flexibility: Maintain flexibility to work any shift and weekends to support operations.
