Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work across our community. You will ensure indoor/outdoor spaces meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality, addressing resident requests and coordinating with vendors as needed.

The role includes managing make-ready tasks for vacant units, maintaining inventory, and performing preventative maintenance per policy.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair defects in the community buildings per policies and codes.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and perform inspections.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and buildings to reflect Greystar quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform technical and mechanical work to meet safety and quality standards.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Conduct monthly preventative maintenance as outlined in the manual.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance across the site.
• Assist residents and team with timely, respectful service and issue resolution.
