Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical work ensuring community buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will manage work orders, oversee make-ready processes for vacant units, and enforce Greystar standards across all spaces.

Qualifications

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs according to policy and safety standards.
• Oversee make‑ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and complete inspections.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of common areas to reflect Greystar quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Manage make-ready inspections and scheduling with vendors and contractors.
• Ensure community areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness and safety.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and order supplies as needed.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance procedures.
