Job summary

Domtar in Hawesville, Kentucky, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a crew and ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will drive improvements and support safe operations in a 24/7 mill environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong technical knowledge in mechanical and electrical instrumentation, and the ability to coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to plan and execute work efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance supervision experience.
• A personal dedication to safety and safety culture development.
• Ability to lead a crew of mechanics/engineers to complete tasks.
• Familiar with reliability-centered maintenance and predictive maintenance tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and written/spoken communication skills.
• Willingness to support a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a crew of journey-level Mechanical and/or Electrical-Instrumentation employees.
• Identify and implement improvements in process and equipment reliability across their area of the Mill.
• Provide technical reliability leadership and support to operations.
• Responsible for rotating on-call responsibilities.
• Review work requests and oversee the work order flow to completion.
