Job summary

Domtar's Hawesville, KY facility seeks an Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team in reliability and maintenance. The role requires safety‑driven leadership and technical acumen to keep critical plant equipment available for continuous production.

The ideal candidate will manage on‑call rotations, oversee work orders, and collaborate with operations and maintenance personnel to implement improvements and prevent failures in a demanding, 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

3 years of maintenance supervision experience or 1 year with engineering degree.
Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems incl. PLC, VFD, and power distribution.
Familiar with reliability-centered maintenance and predictive maintenance tools.
Strong equipment and system troubleshooting aptitude.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a crew of Journey-level Electrical-Instrumentation employees; ensure reliability and maintainability.
Identify and implement improvements in process and equipment reliability with operations and maintenance teams.
Provide reliability leadership, technical assistance, and support; maintain rotating on-call responsibilities.
Review work requests, initiate work-planning, and oversee the work order flow to completion.
