Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5+ years pulp production experience or 10+ years in pulp & paper.
• In-depth knowledge of the pulp process and ability to organize, plan, lead and motivate people to achieve objectives.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage senior managers.
• Proven technical, project management and strategic capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety training and compliance across the department.
• Coordinate daily operations and maintenance for safe, reliable production.
• Review operating results to improve margins and reduce costs.
• Mentor Shift Supervisors and participate in labor relations as needed.
• Develop budgets and support capital expenditures for mill operations.
• Provide timely reports to management on performance.
