Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance department, supervise plant maintenance, mobile maintenance, and electrical staff, and collaborate with Production, Quarry Operations, and Quality to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

You will develop schedules, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a strong safety culture and reliability across equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AA or BS technical degree in mechanical, electrical and/or related field with strong diesel engine, powertrain, electronics background.
• BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, business or related field.
• Previous SAP or similar system knowledge is a plus.,
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and line out daily maintenance work.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager to assess and prioritize work orders.
• Develop daily and weekly maintenance schedules and coordinate procurement of goods/services.
• Maintain SAP processes and train team members on system use.
• Ensure maintenance work meets established standards and guidelines.
• Manage spare parts inventory to support reliability and availability.
• Lead maintenance budget alignment and activities.
• Lead daily planning/scheduling meetings with Production.
• Drive continuous improvement for equipment reliability and performance.
• Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for maintenance performance.
• Lead and mentor maintenance staff with a focus on safety.
• Deliver PowerPoint presentations to stakeholders when needed.
• Foster a positive safety culture and environmental compliance.
