Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance professional to safely perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuilds on plant and quarry equipment to support reliable operations in a heavy industrial environment.

You will follow MSHA safety policies, read blueprints, install and align equipment, support outages, and document work orders while contributing to continuous improvement and equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing or mining.
• Experience with welding, equipment alignment, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to work safely in hot, dusty industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and compliance policies and conduct workplace inspections.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Install and align new equipment using proper techniques and tools.
• Complete work orders, inspections, and maintenance reports accurately.
• Maintain tools, organize work areas, and support outages.
