Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on plant equipment. You will help achieve OEE and Availability goals by reducing unplanned downtime, participating in training/certification programs, and maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards.

The role requires experience with welding, mechanical alignments, hydraulics/pneumatics, blueprints, and CMMS/SAP.

Qualifications

• 2+ years mechanical experience including welding, equipment alignments, troubleshooting, reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Must be physically able to perform work assigned and access all plant locations.
• High level of safety awareness and ability to follow SQF and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance inspections, repairs and rebuilds on plant equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, SQF, and FDA CFR 21 Part 507.
• Document inspections and maintenance using CMMS/SAP.
• Install, align and troubleshoot mechanical systems including belts, gears, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Disassemble and rebuild crushing, conveying, and conveying equipment as needed.
• Operate lifting equipment and maintain housekeeping and tool readiness.
