Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 3 years repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• 2 years of supervisory maintenance experience preferred.
• Maintenance administration including planning, scheduling and budgeting is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action using manuals and schematics.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform basic welding to repair facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and control systems.
• Perform and oversee preventive maintenance on facilities and assets.
• Follow blueprints and manuals with a documented maintenance schedule.
• Manage and assign all equipment maintenance and budget considerations.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance within the maintenance department.
• Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Train and develop maintenance staff and coordinate with Production Manager.
• Oversee overtime and staffing as needed.
