Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee and perform hands-on tasks across the community. You will address resident requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to meet Greystar standards of cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.

The role includes managing make-ready processes for vacant units, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining materials and budgets. You will also conduct routine inspections, enforce safety practices, and deliver strong customer service to

Responsibilities

• Manages work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing defects and repairing per policies and safety standards.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Develops cleanliness/appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspects work by other service team members and creates corrective action plans as needed.
• Inspects contractors/vendors to ensure quality and specifications are met.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and materials; coordinates with Community Manager on supplies within budget.
• Executes monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in policy.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts where possible; uses tools correctly.
• Conducts safety meetings, maintains MSDS, and stays updated on OSHA and safety laws.
• Demonstrates customer service by addressing resident questions and complaints promptly and efficiently.
