Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking aMaintenance Technician to ensure the community meets Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose issues, complete resident work orders, and coordinate with vendors for timely repairs.

The role includes managing make-ready tasks, inspecting unit readiness, and maintaining supplies while respecting budget guidelines. Strong customer-service skills and tool proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools; safe use of hand tools, power tools, etc.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to diagnose and fix issues.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication with residents and team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform maintenance repairs following policies and safety rules.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, inspections, punch lists, and vendor coordination.
• Set and maintain standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, signage, and common areas.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools; assist with budget and cost-control measures.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance procedures and support budget planning.
