WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor II for CityView, a 296-unit affordable and senior living community in Long Beach, CA. The role combines hands-on maintenance with team leadership to keep the property safe, well-maintained, and compliant with company standards.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with on-call duties. Candidates should have 3–5 years in maintenance and 1–3 years in supervision, plus a CAMT certification if applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in apartment/property/building maintenance.
• 1–3 years in supervisory/leadership roles.
• CAMT certification preferred or required, as applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and work-order systems.
• Strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
• On-call availability and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance team, ensuring high-quality work and resident service.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop staff while promoting safety.
• Oversee service requests, work orders, staff schedules, and vendor activities.
• Manage preventive maintenance, inspections, and curb appeal initiatives.
• Perform and coordinate repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry).
• Review inspections, obtain bids, and assist with capital projects.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies.
