Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor I for Meadowview, a 60-unit affordable housing community in Central Square, NY. You will oversee daily maintenance operations, supervise staff, and ensure property standards while coordinating with the Property Manager.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, scheduling, and on-call availability. Minimum high school diploma and CAMT certification are required, with 3-5 years of experience and 1 year supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Less than 1 year of supervisory experience.
• A current vehicle license in good standing and meet driving records standards.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• CAMT certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding supervisory skills.
• Ability to manage and work with a diverse group of people.
• Availability for on-call activity during off-hours for urgent needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations at the property on a day-to-day basis.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate service requests and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain grounds, snow removal, landscaping, and trash management.
• Complete monthly inspections to ensure operating standards.
• Review third-party inspections and coordinate repairs.
• Prepare work schedules for staff and vendors; solicit bids as needed.
• Participate in on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies.
• Perform hands-on maintenance activities.
