Job summary

Asset Living seeks a dedicated Maintenance Technician in Long Beach, CA to support property upkeep across common areas and units. You’ll handle routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance under supervision, ensure safety, and assist with make-ready tasks to maintain high occupancy and asset value.

You’ll respond to resident requests, perform pool maintenance, maintain logs, and uphold OSHA and Fair Housing requirements while keeping workspaces organized and compliant with company policies.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required for on-site software functions.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance, preventive, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks.
• Coordinate make-ready processes under supervision.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Maintain pool area and logs; ensure safe and compliant conditions.
• Support inventory, safety, and housekeeping of maintenance shop.
• Perform on-call emergency tasks as needed.
