Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team and ensure high-quality upkeep of our apartments. You will manage daily tasks, preventive maintenance, and coordination with vendors.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, strong leadership, and the ability to work on-call. Compensation ranges from $32 to $34 per hour, with full-time benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and recommendations for maintenance staff in conjunction with the manager.
• Assist in the subsequent training of all service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Take the initiative to improve processes and maintenance methods.
• Maintain MSDS sheets and replacement logs.
• Ensure OSHA standards and company safety policies are complied with.
