Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams across properties, ensuring uptime and safety. The role covers daily tasks, vacancy prep, and preventative maintenance, with focus on improving processes and supervising vendors.

The position requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, with preferred supervisory experience and a hands-on, detail-oriented approach. Full-time with compensation in the listed hourly range and benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and recommending personnel in coordination with the manager.
• Train service, custodial, and grounds personnel.
• Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure OSHA standards and safety policies are followed.
• Be available for on-call responses and evictions lock-outs.
• Order and manage supplies for service, custodial, and grounds teams.
• Schedule and supervise vendor work.
• Take initiative to improve maintenance methods.
