Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team on-site, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure preventative maintenance and safety standards are met. The role requires HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge, plus hands-on supervision of facilities staff.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks, including prepping vacant units.
• Interview, screen, and recommend maintenance staff with manager input.
• Train service, housekeeping, and grounds personnel.
• Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Improve maintenance processes and methods.
• Manage MSDS logs and replacement records.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance and company policies.
• Handle lock-outs after evictions and provide 24-hour response to service requests.
• Be available to work on an on-call basis.
• Report unusual circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and delivery of supplies.
