Job summary

Greystar in Livermore is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a 96-unit garden-style community. You will perform plumbing and electrical repairs, manage work orders in OneSite, and handle make-ready tasks to ensure market readiness and Greystar standards.

Requires 3-5 years of maintenance experience, high school diploma, EPA Type I/II or Universal preferred, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to define and correct problems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and inspect tasks.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work of service team members and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory and assist with budget for repairs and capital projects.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure MSDS and OSHA compliance.
• Provide courteous resident interactions and respond to maintenance requests with urgency.
