UniFirst seeks a reliable Maintenance Supervisor in Richmond, VA to ensure facility equipment runs efficiently, identify process improvements, and lead maintenance staff. The role includes supervising shifts, maintaining safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinating with production to meet budgets.

The position requires reading blueprints, PLC troubleshooting, and strong MS Office skills. On-the-job training is provided, with a Monday–Friday week and occasional overtime.

Formación

• Maintenance knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics in English.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling and vendor management.
• Familiarity with PLCs and control systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective actions.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform basic welding to repair facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on assets and manage schedules.
• Follow manuals, specifications, and engineering docs.
• Oversee training status and allocate time for required training.
• Supervise maintenance personnel and shifts.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in maintenance.
