UniFirst is seeking a reliable Maintenance Supervisor to ensure facility equipment operates efficiently and to identify process improvements. The role includes supervising maintenance staff, planning and budgeting, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

This on-site position requires experience with blueprints, PLCs, preventive maintenance, and strong leadership. Training and overtime may be involved as needed for weeknight or weekend coverage.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment.
• Minimum of 2 years supervising maintenance personnel.
• Maintenance administration experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating, parts management, vendor management, maintenance management systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective action by checking blueprints, schematics, repair manuals and parts catalogs.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform basic welding to repair facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and associated control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production assets.
• Follow manuals and specifications using a documented schedule.
• Oversee and implement maintenance regulatory and environmental compliance.
